Congrats to Carlos Pardo for Winning ICAI Entrepreneur Award 2023

We’re proud to congratulate our CEO Carlos Pardo for being awarded Entrepreneur 2023. He’s winner of the 13th edition of the Entrepreneur Awards by Asociación/Colegio Nacional de Ingenieros del ICAI. On October 20, 2023, he will collect the XIII Entrepreneur Award at the ceremony of the 2023 Association Awards.

This award aims to give value to the entrepreneurial culture among ICAI engineers, a trait that is part of the so-called ICAI spirit. Located in Madrid, Spain, the National Association of ICAI Engineers is a private corporation, with its own legal personality, which brings together, fundamentally, engineers who have studied at the ICAI School of Engineering. The Association maintains a cohesive network of ICAI engineers. A network of colleagues united by the profession and, above all, by shared values.

Carlos Pardo is an engineer from Comillas ICAI from the class of 1994, specializing in Electrical Engineering. He started his career in 1995 at Hewlett Packard as an R&D Engineer. In 1988, he joined DS2, a leading supplier of semiconductors for high speed communications over existing cables. After 4 years at DS2 he joined SIDSA as CTO managing the R&D, product development, production and customer support departments, among others.

In 2010 he began his entrepreneurship project with KDPOF, a start-up that he founded with an investment of only 60,000 Euros and which is currently a benchmark in the automotive sector, providing optical vehicle communications solutions to pioneering brands such as Mercedes.
