Electronics Links International Selects KDPOF for its Gigabit POF Products
Binghamton, NY and Madrid, Spain – 30 September 2013
Electronic Links International, Inc. (ELII) with the headquarters in Binghamton NY, USA and Knowledge Development for POF, S.L (KDPOF) with the headquarters in Madrid, Spain, have reached an agreement whereby ELII will be manufacturing Ethernet Media Converters based on the KDPOF newly developed Gigabit Ethernet POF transceiver chip.
The converter delivers 1 Gbps of data over 50 meter of standard PMMA duplex wire and complies with the recently published 1 Gbps over POF norm DIN VDE v 0885-763.
Both, Mr. Oscar Ciordia, Marketing Director of KDPOF, and Francesco Liburdi, of Electronic Links International, Inc. agree that this new product should facilitate the proliferation of the POF technology with all the related advantages in the commercial market.
