KDPOF technology is suitable to be optimized in order to provide a good trade-off among implementation complexity, achievable performance and  target cost.

We consider that a close collaboration with our partners is very important from the earlier stages of the product development. This will enable for an optimum co-design of the different system parts: digital processing, analog front end and optoelectronics. Therefore, this kind of collaboration will provide high integration scales and important reductions of BOM (Bill of Materials) and costs in the final products.

Collaboration for future standardization of the technology is also very important for us, to jointly produce with our partners specifications about  physical layer, optoelectronics, operating ranges or implementation guidelines.

Investment

We are carrying out the first round of investment for our company in order to get founding to support the development of the first version of KDPOF integrated circuits. We are specially interested in investors involved on POF market or communications technologies, in order to establish with them a collaboration framework to jointly work for the implementation of KDPOF technology in their products.
